The VB-2 is a two stage boost/overdrive/fuzz which can be used to add texture and grit to just about any instrument. This custom collaboration with Sweet Pill includes a black/red splattered enclosure with laser engraved graphics. “Sweet” controls the volume of the two transistors, and “Pill” controls the bias. The two gain stages are in series with each other, so running the first one hot into the second will give the most saturated/compressed sound, while running the second volume higher and the first lower will give the most open/clean sound. The bias controls can be turned up to add gain/texture as well as to introduce a gritty gated/velcro sound. Note that if the bias controls are turned up high enough, that the signal may cut out entirely (the point this happens depends on the voltage you are running the pedal, but is usually in the highest part of the range). This is normal for this pedal and enables you to take it into more extreme choppy territory if you so desire! Settings included which Jayce and Sean used in the studio on their upcoming record.
